PRAYER OF A DYING SOUL

Prayer of a dying soul
Missing words, breaking breath
Losing vision, slowing heartbeat
Still a prayer, to almighty God
Take me to your shadow
Let me be thy slave!

On the way to last journey
With Silence all around yet a fight
Soul to self, who did right
Who lived it or who would regret
And a fear griping around
Would it ever be able to stand in thy sight?

To confront self, to answer own soul
It always kept running away
Carrying loads of sin and lies
That it did day and night, though
Kept on weaving excuses and illusions
Making everything to appear full and bright!

A fight lost long ago
It knows it could never win, and
It knows, has nothing more to lose
But a last chance
Seeking forgiveness, it asks thee, the almighty God
Take me to your shadow
Let me be thy slave!

Shades Of Some Moments!

Shades of some moments
Scattered like a broken glass
Here and there, shining, blinking
Giving a glimpses, various colors
Mysterious faces and shapes
Of near and far, here and there
Squeezing through the sharp edges
Cruel yet tempting!

It reflected a part, absorbed some
In the tranquility of its own shadow
Though breaking sound kept it dwelling
Penetrated its soul, Next moment
When someone walked over it,
Thousand more like him were lying there
 Still carrying that beautiful scattering
Of the light, passing through them
A rainbow perhaps; even bigger!

Rejoice and Claps
It got, when placed on a center piece for display
Under the flickering of a tiny bulb
Filled the blank space with a sense of eternity
Scattering rainbow and images all around
Amazed by its beauty, I kept my hand over it,
Couldn’t escape an urge to feel it, to touch its tempting boundaries
When it pierced through my fingers,
Sucked the blood out of veins,
Bringing me back to reality, instantly
Felt that pain deep inside, Shocked and surprised
I looked at it again; unmoved, silent
It was still carrying that sense of eternity
The rainbow, the beauty, only difference
My blood was a part of that beauty now
Shining at the edges, even more tempting
Like a red lipstick on the lips of
A seductive lady!
