Glimpse of each other, but un-noticed, often
As if strangers passing by in a rush
For the day must meet the night

And there remained an age of separation to cover
Before words arrived, being sadist
To carry the corpse of Desire and passion
Dead of longing, as if that glass
Buried beneath layers of dust
