Stand, Rise up!

Stand, Rise up!

To choose your own way
To make things right for yourself
To break free the inevitable raging war all around
To live up or die against life herself
You got to stand, you got to rise up!

This is an ugly world, cruel
Lightened up in a cage of illusions
Love and compassion peeking through
Heart caves, every now and than
Afraid of roam around they stay inside
Till we don’t come back
Unhappy, un-satisfied, back to self!

A world of apathy, and scattered tiny bubbles of sympathy
Painted all over, colors all vibrant
Hiding what lies beneath, what speaks truth
Life crumbles and crawls, desperate to breath
Devil dances, sitting atop it, and
Some dies of hunger, some of bullets
Some gets killed by killers; some gets hunted down by police
Some dies defending by, some dies avenging over
Some gets eaten away by animals, some swallowed by human greed
And, some dies living life too well, till it gives up!

One dies and world mourns, one dies an unknown death
One gets buried in golden coffin, one vanishes like never existed
Does it matter, how and where, once the fleshes deteriorates
Leaving behind a trail of truth, lie and stories
Made up to hide some, to highlight another few
And world wonders, as always!

Truth, does it ever existed
In a workers melancholic eyes
In an artist’s chocking throats
In a dying soldier’s heart, who wished to know
Who he was killing and what for;
Those trembling shadows of ghostly figures
Men, women, kids, infants dying of hunger
In some remote deserts, forests
Watching those machines flying away in the sky
In search of new lives, better, brighter!

Peace, soul yearns for, but where
Not in the womb of such raped soul
Whose dreams are shattered by the cruel reality
Not till you stand, rise up and protect
And let a life reborn itself, upon the thrones of truth!

She Surrendered!

She Surrendered!

To be touched tenderly
To be kissed slowly
To be cuddled right
To get loved all night
Shy, little afraid
She surrendered!

Like a doe, lost on the way
Alone with that shadow in darkness
Squeezing a fear in heart
Unknown, uncertain
Of the rules of play
She surrendered!

Eyes closed, ears deaf
Racing heartbeat, twitching nerves
Breathing heavily and body on fire
She felt an arm all over, that of a sire
Taking over her, desired
Or unable to resist
Losing her senses, unmoved, stilled,
In the grasp of that shadow
She surrendered!

Oh dear! Thy young soul
How would she forget?
The taste of that kiss
The warmth of that embrace
The sensation of being torn away
The pain of being loved
She will remember, remember it all
That first night of love, when
She surrendered!
