A Traveler, We are!

A Traveler, We are!

A traveler, we are
Like clouds, we wander
Here and there
Carrying little drops of
Those moments,
Of the loneliness
Which we get drawn in,
Drenched, we let it go
Let it rain, let it wash away
Our soul, that floats then
As the breeze of consciences
Comes calling
Through the rainbow of life
And once again
To complete the assignments
Journey continues!

A traveler, we are
Like a river, we ramble
Through the hills and plains
Rocks and grasses
Caressing scars
Seen or unseen
Losing some of self
Filling the unfilled
We keep on flowing
Drawing a way
Even when there’s none
With a singular desire
To reach destination
We move forward
Roaring and dancing or
Silent and whispering
All just to lose self
In the ocean of truth!

A traveler, we are
We accept the challenge
Peaking through the bubbles of dilemmas
We walk across, those difficult roads with
Ups and downs, plains and curves
Deserts and floods, feet bleeds
We move through
A constant struggle
To make this same journey
Easier for someone else
We travel, travel far!

And, when lost and tired
We surrender to almighty
Smiling from deep within
Then he carries the soul,
On his shoulders
Making it immortal
And the journey continues…

A traveler, we are!

Try, My Love!

Try, My Love!

Try if you could escape prison of my heart
Try if you could blow it apart
Try if you could break it in pieces
Try if you could ruin it, crush it, burn it, forever!

O dear, you are now prisoner of my heart
Walls of my love all around you, goes
High and high, you cannot look beyond
You say I should not have done this
Blame it to my heart
I am prisoner of my own heart now!

Try if you could do it soon
Try before height of my love walls reaches moon
Try if you could keep my love waves calm
Try before it gets you drown!

Try, my dear, my love, try, and try your best
Do not stop, keep trying
Try, until you are tired of trying to go away
Try, until you start loving me back
Until you agree to be a part of my world of prison
And set up a world of dreams
Behind those walls of love
Away from the world, from everyone
Try, I shall wait…

O Sea!

O Sea!

O sea!
When I saw you that night
Lying naked,
Below the transparent cover of moonlight,
On the bed of sand
Alone, your waves as wet hairs
Flying over the face
Your voluptuous body
Floating here and there
And you like a lady
Lost in her own thought
With no sense of shyness
Just waiting for her love
To come and embarrass her tight
Cuddle her, touch her,
Fill her and complete her
Though as grew night
Wait continued, and no one came in sight

When I saw you that night
A sense of loneliness filling the air
A desire to be touched, to be caressed
To be fulfilled, in the shape of clouds
Decked all over you
Conversing feelings of teenage rivers
Fuelling it, and desperation on your face
Silent screams, to reach him, to find him
Your tides breaking limits
Rising high and higher
Like going to bring the moon down
You breathed fire
Volcano erupting in your heart
Tears rolled through your eyes
Salty water, still…

When I saw you that night
Rainy night and storms
Like trying to hide your tears
Trying to stop fire in your body
Trying to dilute your screams
Under its noise
And world thought
O sea, you are the one
Who is filled, and complete!

I can still taste salt in your water
Are you still crying, O sea?

Let’s Play!

Let’s Play!

Let’s play
O dear time
The game of life
In your own courtyard
Under your own shadow
On your conditions
I accept your rules

Play rough
Play soft
Play hard
Play funny
Play fair
Play dirty
Play as you wish
I promise to amuse you

Play to live
Play to kill
Play to build
Play to destroy
Play on your own terms
I would never complain

Play
Like it’s no match
Like you are already a winner
Like there is nothing to challenge you
Like you would crush my existence
For this asininely act
Under your wheels forever and ever, and my soul
Would just vanish, as it never appeared

Even then I wish to play
O dear great Time
Let’s play
I promise
I would continue
I would rise
Every time I fall
I would resurge
Again and again, and
Will continue playing
The immortal game of life…

THIRSTY SOUL…

THIRSTY SOUL…

Thirsty soul
Walking by sea-shore
Looks through the horizon
Infinite water
With a Glimpse of hope
To quench its thirst
Dives through
Deep down
Swallows it all, but
Salt dilutes the blood
Tongue reacts
Spills it all, surprised
It looks to that
Infinite domain
Disappointed, it walks back
To the world, it left deserted,
World, of fading hopes, dead souls
Whose bloods polluted
The river, and
Water became an illusion
Alas! The moment of apocalypse
It thinks for a moment, and a sigh
Sits on the chair
Looks at the table
That still had a paper, a pen
An ink-pot with last few drops
Lying at the bottom,
Thirsty soul
Once again
Swallows it all,
Licks every last drop, of ink
Mixes with the blood
Nerves twitches
Venom or nectar
Uncertain, it dips the pen
In own heart, and decides
To rewrite the history
Of someone
Once called
Human!

Hide and Seek

Hide and Seek

Hide and Seek
That we used to play
Long ago, in your backyard
Making our way through
Those plants of berries
Away from the crowd
From family, from everyone
Just you and me
Playing, hide and seek
Oh Dear! How easy was it
To catch you, to see you
Even behind those berry plants
Because my heart was always filled
With the smell
Of your jasmine body
Because we breathed same air
Dipped in love
That came from heaven, blessed by angels
Because our heartbeat
Sang same song
Even in midst
Of all the chaos around
And I knew
Where you hiding,
I used to find you, always
However hard you tried, to hide
What fun it was, and
You wondered, how could I
Did I cheat?
Did I keep my eyes open?
You used to ask
Showing a sweet frustation, smiling
I used to let you
Tighten your scarf on my eyes
And the play continued.

THAT NIGHT…!

THAT NIGHT…!

That night
When words scribbled, magically
And poetry came alive
Floated in the air
Filled it with the euphony

That night
When you laid beside me
Your chin resting on my back
Hairs falling on my shoulder
Friction of skins keeping the warmth
Mixed smells of sweat in air
Night growing in its temptation, and still
I lost in my own thought
Searching for words that could
Decrypt the emotion, dwelling in my heart
Almost a rage, I kept denying
That I too could have my love
In my arms, burning agony
Watch ticking slowly
Sound of heartbeat in synch
Oh Dear! You felt my pain
Did not speak anything, just
Made me look into your eyes
Where love tides were waving high
Passionate to take me away
Asking me to dive through, and
Exhausted I let myself flow
Weighed under your voluptuous body
An urge to sail through those curves
Seduction took over
Lips locked, saliva flowing across
As I went deep within you
Bodies became singular
With no sense to stop, I continued, and
Your arms tightened, a joyous cry
Tears rolled through your chick
You murmured love
And I could feel
Your nails doing some scribbling
On my back, like sketching my emotion
Trying to give them shape of words
That had a sense of poetry, and we continued
To create those magical moments
To compose the lyrics, to pen down the feelings.

That night
When our heart spoke love
You became my pen, me you paper
And, we created a magic
We penned poetry
Whose echoes still floats
In the chorus, the sound of love!

I wonder if I could write anything
If you would not have been with me!!!
