Rainy-Love!

Rainy-Love!

Falling droplets from the sky
Through the winds screaming
As if in a hurry, to meet the earth
For like a lover running through a crowded street
To meet his love, for the ordeal of wait insufferable any more
Clouds of separation being darker than ever
And while trembling, rumbling past the crowd of people
As those droplets falling down fast and faster
For to imagine touching the earth, soil and grasses yearning
As lover imagines her, those eyes closed, slumbering while waiting
Fills with even more joy and impatience
To reach her, and lose self in those arms
To fill her with all he had carved so long for
As it rains, love blossoms in air
As the fresh smell of soil fills the breeze
And thunders joining in to announce their union
For the thrill is too much to be contained
Within their tiny little heart, though they wish and kiss
And again, again and again, to be followed by thousands another
Yet un-satisfied as that sky, which pours and pours inside out
Still finds a little patch of earth dry and pours more in vigour afresh

While the lovers walk down the street
Holding each other in arm, all wet and wild
As that running stream by the road-side
Dancing, singing flowing, caring for none
Asking for nothing, but, more rain, more kisses
Ah! What could stop them that moment?
Moment of rain, moment of love!
